¡Muchas Noticias!

February will be full of lots of exciting stuff for La Calavera Bakery and the folks who dig it, so here’s everything in one easy-to-digest, long-fermented announcement:

We are participating in Cookie Grab ATL 2018! Eighteen of the city’s best bakers and cooks are contributing their tasty treats to an exquisite box of goodies, the sale of which will raise money for Planned Parenthood Southeast. Last year’s Cookie Grab raised $25,000! Follow this link to learn more and to buy your own deelish box, to be picked up on February 13 or 14:

Speaking of February 14, Valentine’s Day is comin’ up! Delight the ones you love with our “Dos Conchas”: two fancy conchas sandwiched around a cream filling – triple chocolate and vanilla rose. $17. The vanilla rose concha is vegan and vegan orders will consist of 2 of those. Photos comin’ soon!

Lastly, we are very grateful to be one of the 2018 Atlanta winners of the Starchefs “Rising Stars” Award! We’re in great company among other locals like Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate, The Little Tart Bakeshop and more. We’re so thankful for the recognition and hope that it leads to more people finding La Calavera Bakery and sharing our love of delicious bread.
We invite anyone who’d like to taste some of the best food and drink in this city to join us on Tuesday, February 20, at the Rising Stars Gala at SunTrust Park. We’ll be offering a selection of our breads for folks to try. The gala is open to the public, and tickets include 17 dishes with beverage pairings + 3 cocktails. Find more info here:
